Bryan ‘Uncle Bob’ grew up in East Killara and has operated Uncle Bobs Carpentry in St Ives Sydney and surrounding suburbs for over 20 years. He and his team have extensive experience with homes and units specific to the north shore.
When Bryan started out he was trying to think of a name. His niece (3 at the time) was infatuated with Bob the Builder, a British children’s tv series popular in the late ’90s / early ‘00s. Assuming all builders were called Bob, she would erupt into the “Can We Fix It, Yes We Can” song every time she saw him. Even though the tunes have stopped and she is starting university soon, the name remains.
Uncle Bobs Carpentry can help you with just about any carpentry task around the home. By now we are pretty sure we have seen it all.

Uncle Bobs Carpentry is licenced for carpentry, joinery, kitchen & bathrooms renovations.
We are licenced to perform carpentry and maintenance works as defined under schedule 4 of the Home Building Regulation 2014.
Our licence number is 389886C
We are eligible for Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF) coverage (also known as Home Warranty Insurance), meaning we can legally complete jobs over $20,000 including GST if required.
For real estate, commercial and strata clients we maintain workers compensation and public liability insurance. A certificate of currency can be provided if required.
PERSONALISED APPROACH
Our clients aren't interested in offshore call centres, ghost brands, aggressive sales tactics, or heavily marketed franchises. They want genuine service from skilled local tradesmen.
Some clients are 'old school' wanting to eye us off, shake our hand and assess our character in person.
A few clients just want someone who is discreet or can just get the job done.
But we find all clients want high quality work at a fair price.
